The change from Bamboo sheets to solid Character White Oak makes the atmosphere of this conservatory truly sophisticated.

Managers of Phipps Conservatory in Downtown Pittsburgh drove the 1-1/2 hour trip to our show room to discuss a new flooring option for their spacious conservatory.

After a Bamboo laminate for many years, they wanted to refresh the look of the room and use a natural solid hardwood.

They decided on Character Livesawn White Oak Floor, and we supplied FSC certified hardwood so that they could be green on paper as well.

After several different Samples, we hit upon the best finish for the Livesawn White Oak: Pure Rubio Monocoat with a second coat of Maintenance Oil for extra sheen.

See the album of different samples we were considering here.

After getting this project done, the Conservatory can now have a beautiful room that segways into their botanical gardens.
