A few years ago, we had applied Pure Rubio Monocoat to a cherry floor in this beautiful rustic cabin.

The owners started renting the home out as an Airbnb, and the heavy traffic had worn the floor considerably.

There were several deep scratches, and because of the need to disinfect the home after every guest, the floor had lost its matte sheen.

However, because we had previously finished this floor with Rubio, we did not need to sand off the old finish. Instead we use a 3M maroon buffer pad to lightly abrade the floor.

We then applied Rubio's Universal Maintenance Oil, and the results were a brand-new looking floor.

After only a few hours and a minimum amount of equipment, this floor was ready to be used again the very next day.
